JMD Design’ designed Centenary Square with a focus on pavement design whcih was a true showcase of Australian “Adelaide Black” Granite in a trapezoidal paving design. By incorporating two different stone finishes, the pavement’s aesthetic appeal is heightened, introducing contrast and visual intrigue.A central feature is the illuminated flush fountain, subtly defining the primary spatial volume with a trapezoidal paving pattern. Incorporating two stone finishes enhances the pavement aesthetics, introducing contrast and visual interest, complemented by a catenary lighting system for added character.
